Lille Model (Steroid Response in Alcoholic Hepatitis)
Assesses response to corticosteroids at day 7 in severe alcoholic hepatitis (MDF >= 32). Lille score >= 0.45 = non-response; stop steroids.
Score interpretation
Lille >= 0.45: Non-response to steroids
→ Discontinue prednisolone; no survival benefit; consider liver transplant evaluation; palliative care
Lille < 0.45: Response to steroids
→ Continue prednisolone for 28 days total; good prognosis; support with alcohol cessation, nutrition
