Rules out coronary artery disease in primary-care chest pain. A score < 2 means coronary artery disease is unlikely (pooled data from five countries).
Score interpretation
Score < 2 — Coronary Artery Disease Unlikely -1–1
Probability of CAD 2.1 % with a score < 2 (prevalence 13.2 %).
→ Consider other causes; safety-net and reassess if symptoms change.
Score ≥ 2 — Coronary Artery Disease Possible 2–5
Probability of CAD 43 % with a score ≥ 2.
→ Further cardiac evaluation (ECG, referral or investigation per local pathway); urgent assessment if ACS is suspected.
