Initial Assessment

ABCDE, sat upright if tolerated. Oxygen titrated to SpO₂ 94–98% (88–92% if COPD). Continuous monitoring, IV access. ECG, CXR, ABG, FBC, U&E, LFTs, NT-proBNP, troponin, glucose. Echo if available within 48h (NICE).
