IGCCCG Risk Classification — Testicular Cancer
International Germ Cell Cancer Collaborative Group (IGCCCG) risk classification for testicular germ cell tumours.
Score interpretation
Good prognosis: 5-year survival ~91% (NSGCT) or ~86% (seminoma)
→ BEP ×3 cycles or EP ×4 cycles (NSGCT); carboplatin × 1–2 cycles or RT (seminoma stage I–IIA); oncology referral
Intermediate prognosis: 5-year survival ~79%
→ BEP ×4 cycles; consider VIP if PEB contraindicated; oncology referral
Poor prognosis: 5-year survival ~48–56%
→ BEP ×4 cycles; consider clinical trial; close follow-up with markers; specialist centre referral
