Peritonsillar Abscess
Complication of tonsillitis — pus between tonsil capsule and pharyngeal wall. Features: unilateral throat pain, trismus (difficulty opening mouth), 'hot potato' muffled voice, unilateral peritonsillar bulge with uvular deviation to opposite side, drooling, systemic illness.
