About ClinCalc Pro

A clinical reference and decision-support toolkit, built for working clinicians in UK secondary care.

What this is

ClinCalc Pro pulls together validated calculators, drug-dose references, decision pathways and an AI differential generator into one fast, keyboard-friendly interface. Everything is content-driven and rendered statically — pages load in well under a second on mobile data, and the same content is available offline through the Android app.

How content is sourced

Calculators
Formulas reproduced from primary publications and cross-checked against MDCalc. Each calculator links its citation; interpretive thresholds match the published cut-offs.
Drug doses
BNF (adult, paediatric, neonatal) is the primary source, with corroboration from NICE TAs/NGs/CKS, MHRA Drug Safety Updates, ESC, ESMO, BSH, BSAC, UKHSA, BHIVA, EASL, RCOG, RCOphth, BAD, NOGG and BSG where applicable. Always verify against your local formulary.
Pathways
Branching decision trees aligned to UK and international guidelines (NICE, ESC, AHA, BTS, ATS, GOLD, KDIGO, etc.). The originating guideline is named on every pathway page.
AI Differential
Anthropic Claude Sonnet 4.5 (model claude-sonnet-4-5-20250929 ) with a structured-output system prompt. Selecting a specialty swaps in a focused lens (e.g. Cardiology: HEART/GRACE, Neurology: NIHSS/ABCD2, Respiratory: Wells/PERC, Psychiatry: MHA/MCA/organic mimics). Pain severity (NRS 0–10) is fed into red-flag and likelihood reasoning. Output is decision-support only.

What this is not

Not a regulated medical device

ClinCalc Pro does not diagnose or treat patients. It assists qualified clinicians by surfacing references, calculations and structured decision support. Final clinical decisions rest with the treating clinician. See the Clinical Disclaimer for full terms.
