Adult Presentation + Diagnostic Process

Persistent (≥6 months) + cross-setting (work + home) symptoms of inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity, with onset in childhood (DSM-5: before age 12; ICD-11: childhood onset). Symptom domains: difficulty organising tasks, easily distracted, restless, talkative, impulsive decisions, emotional dysregulation. Functional impairment in work, education, relationships. Use structured assessment: Diagnostic Interview for ADHD (DIVA-5) + collateral (school reports if available, family informant). Screen with ASRS (≥4/6 part A suggestive).
