Recognise & Investigate
Colicky loin-to-groin pain, microscopic/macroscopic haematuria, restless. Differentials: AAA (>50y, risk factors — exclude with USS/CT), pyelonephritis, ureteric stricture, ectopic pregnancy.
• Urine dip (haematuria in 85%), pregnancy test in women of childbearing age.
• FBC, U&E, calcium, CRP, urate.
