Suspect — CRAB Features
Suspect in: bone pain (back), pathological fracture, hypercalcaemia (Ca ↑), AKI / unexplained renal failure, anaemia + ↑ ESR / plasma viscosity, recurrent infections (functional immunoparesis), neuropathy. CRAB criteria for symptomatic MM: hyperCalcaemia (>2.75), Renal impairment (creatinine >177 or eGFR <40), Anaemia (Hb <100 or 20 below LLN), Bone lesions (≥1 lytic lesion).
