Drug Interaction Checker
Enter two or more medicines to see what each one's product information says about the others.
Check any combination of medicines against their official product information. For each pair, the checker searches the UK SmPC (section 4.5) and, where available, the US label (section 7) for sentences that name the other medicine or a class it belongs to — by name, brand and class (e.g. an SSRI against an MAO inhibitor) — and shows each sentence word for word with its source. The colour reflects the sentence's own wording.
Add two or more medicines. Each pair is checked in both directions, and the sentences whose wording mentions a contraindication or avoidance are listed first.
Important
Decision support only. The checker shows what each medicine's product information says; it does not assess the interaction and is not exhaustive. Finding no sentence is not a guarantee of safety. Always confirm against the current SmPC and your local formulary, and apply clinical judgement before prescribing.
