Recognise & Mobilise

Stridor (inspiratory whistle), respiratory distress, drooling, tripoding, voice change. Sit up, keep calm, do NOT examine throat (can precipitate complete obstruction). Call senior anaesthetist + ENT immediately. Difficult airway equipment, fibreoptic, surgical airway kit at bedside.
