Assesses growth of preterm infants using corrected gestational age. Identifies SGA (<10th percentile) and LGA (>90th percentile).
Score interpretation
Severely Growth Restricted (SGA)
→ Investigate for IUGR, infection, metabolic causes; nutritional support
Small for Gestational Age (SGA)
→ Enhanced nutritional support; monitor closely
Appropriate for Gestational Age (AGA)
→ Continue current management
Large for Gestational Age (LGA)
→ Monitor for hypoglycaemia and polycythaemia
