Score interpretation

Low Suspicion for Sepsis 0–1

qSOFA 0–1: Lower risk of sepsis-related outcomes

→ Monitor closely; reassess if clinical condition changes

Suspected Sepsis — Act Urgently 2–3

qSOFA ≥2: 3–14× increased risk of in-hospital death

→ Full sepsis workup; blood cultures; lactate; IV access; fluid bolus; antibiotics within 1 hour; consider ICU
