Cerebral Perfusion Pressure (CPP)

Calculates cerebral perfusion pressure from mean arterial pressure and intracranial pressure. Target CPP 60-70 mmHg in TBI.

Score interpretation

Adequate CPP

→ Maintain MAP and ICP targets; continue monitoring

Low-normal CPP

→ Optimise MAP (vasopressors if needed); reduce ICP

Critically low CPP

→ Immediate intervention: MAP augmentation, ICP reduction (mannitol, hyperventilation, drainage)

Interpretation bands for the CPP. Apply clinical judgement and local guidance.
