Score interpretation
IPS-E 0: 5-year cumulative risk of needing treatment 8.4 % (Condoluci 2020).
→ Watch and wait. Monitor every 3–6 months. No treatment needed.
IPS-E 1: 5-year cumulative risk of needing treatment 28.4 %.
→ Watchful waiting with closer monitoring (every 3–6 months). Discuss clinical trial options.
IPS-E 2–3: 5-year cumulative risk of needing treatment 61.2 %.
→ Closer monitoring (every 3 months). Start treatment only when iwCLL criteria for active disease are met; consider early-intervention clinical trials.
