Dose: Pre-prepared 0.9% NaCl with 20 or 40 mmol KCl/L; rate per indication (max 10 mmol/h peripherally)

- Maintenance potassium replacement
- Use pre-prepared bags — never make up at bedside
Contraindications
- Hyperkalaemia
- Severe renal impairment without monitoring
