Retinal Detachment
Separation of neurosensory retina from RPE. Three types: rhegmatogenous (most common — tear/hole), tractional (diabetes, sickle cell), exudative. Symptoms: photopsia (flashes), floaters (sudden increase), visual field defect (curtain/shadow), reduced acuity. Risk factors: myopia, previous cataract surgery, trauma, FHx.
